Fire alarms come in multiple categories. It is essential that the right system is fitted and that you do not purchase a system that is not suitable for your building use and type.
When Haven Security undertakes a fire alarm survey, you will always be asked what category you require. The category should be identified within your fire risk assessment which every company needs to complete or review annually.  
Haven Security do not undertake fire risk assessments. We believe that if the fire risk assessment is undertaken by the installation company, you may be specified a category that is far higher than actually required. This could be seen to benefit the installation company due to greater equipment sales.
